Position title
Maintenance Manager - Biofuels Plant Operations
Responsibilities
  • Will integrate into the site Fuels team to execute best-in-class safety, process safety, and environmental performance in design, construction, startup, and continued operation of our facility.
  • Leads and is responsible the continued maintenance and reliability/inspection programs for the facility.
  • Leads development of work scope, coordination, and execution of outage activities.
  • Will lead on-site Operations Specialist and shared resources teams in scheduling and performing maintenance activities.
  • Develops and coordinates contracts for specialty maintenance services outside of skills sets of internal resources.
  • Develops and leads the reliability and inspection programs for the facility utilizing both internal and external resources.
  • Facilitates continuous improvement program for both equipment and personnel.
  • Actively engaged in Process Safety through maintaining robust Reliability and Inspection programs, Mechanical Integrity (MI) programs, participating in the Management of Change (MOC) processes, and engagement in safe work practices development and utilization to ensure compliance with regulatory and company FPF standards.
  • Coordinates field construction for small to medium projects.
Qualifications
  • Should have B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or combination of post-secondary education and related experience.
  • 10 years industrial experience in chemical, petroleum refining/petrochemical, or other closely related industry with a minimum of 5 years in maintenance supervision, planning, scheduling, and/or execution role.
  • Technical knowledge of both fixed and rotating equipment, including vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, pumps, compressors, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with training maintenance crafts and operators.
  • Project management experience.
Accountabilities
  • Will have basic knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Understands fundamentals of Reliability and Inspection programs.
  • Functional knowledge of relevant industry and company internal standards.
  • Demonstrates organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, including proficiency with both written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage and execute an operating and capital budget.
  • Able to work on-site at company location in central Georgia.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
